■The Wucheng New District, with Bailongqiao Town and Qianxi Village under its jurisdiction, covers a planned area of 89 km2. It is an important part of the city proper and is 8 km away from the city center. The No. 330 National Highway and the No. 03 Provincial Highway run through the New City. The Hangzhou-Jinhua-Quzhou Expressway has an interchange here, and the Zhejiang-Jiangxi Line intersects the Jinhua-Qiandaohu Line in it.
■The New District is endowed with a beautiful environment, ample resources and excellent infrastructure.
■The New District is designed to function as a new area for industry, education, business and trades, and living.
■With a planned area of 22.7km2, the industrial park takes its leading industries in automobiles, motorcycles and their accessories, hardware and measuring tools, pharmaceuticals, food processing, etc., and has already hosted more than 500 manufacturing enterprises for the moment.
■With a planned area of 15.95km2, the central administration area is the new political, economical and cultural center of the Wucheng District. Its main function covers from administration, finance, business and trade, to culture and education.
■Holding smooth, well-built highways, the New District’s road framework is extended to a range of 11km2. The administration and public service centers, schools, social welfare centers, etc. are already in operation. Supporting facilities such as water and power supplies, communication services etc. have been gradually perfected. Within the central administration block, a number of office and residential buildings have been constructed, such as the Blue Bay International, the Jingda Galaxy Bay and the Olympic Park.
